My In Depth Morning Skincare Routine

HEY THERE! 🙂 Today I am sharing my more in depth morning skincare routine with you! I created a blog post in February on a morning skincare routine but decided I should go a little more in depth on it! I also added some more products! Down below I have provided a tutorial on what products I use, the steps and how I apply them!

Step 1: CLARISONIC

Get face and neck wet with warm water. Place a pea-size amount of gel cleanser onto the clarisonic head and start moving it in a circular motion on your face and neck.

I use this whenever I take a shower, it can get a little messy doing it over the sink. I use the radiance milk cleanser with the radiance head. This is going to vibrate against your skin and remove the dirt, germs, oils and left over makeup from last night.

Radiance Foaming Milk $19.00

Step 2: FACIAL CLEANER

Get face and neck wet with warm water. Lather between hands and massage in a circular motion on face and neck. Rinse throughly with warm water and pat face dry. DO NOT RUB. Clinique liquid facial soap

I use this Clinique facial cleanser because I have very sensitive and DRY skin. There are 3 different formulas and was created by Dermatologists. (Extra dry, dry and oily) This facial cleanser feels light and silky to the touch and refreshes the skin. It is also fragrance free! This is a product I can’t live without!

Step 3: SERUM

Serums help renew cells and make your skin feel smoother and hydrated.

Apply one pump onto hands and gently rub into face and neck. Avoid the eye area (you will be using an eye cream, soon!)

I have been using Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Serum for a few years now and still, have not found anything better! It comes out in a thick yet smooth consistency and goes onto your skin very nicely. It doesn’t make my skin feel oily. I used to have texture on my forehead and chin, but ever since I have used this, I have had NO texture!

Next, I have been using Kylie Skin Vitamin C Serum for almost a year now (ever since her launch date) and can’t stop using it! It makes my skin feel hydrated and soft after applying. Just like my Clinique Serum, it doesn’t make my face feel oily.

Step 4: Eye Cream

It is so important that you use an eye cream 2x daily, starting in your early 20’s. Using an eye cream is going to help reduce puffiness, add brightness to the skin and prevent wrinkles. It is also going to help you keep your skins elasticity.

Apply a pea-size amount to finger tips and very gently dab on eyelid and around under eye area.

The day Kylie Jenner released her skincare line, I was on it! The hype was everything, so I thought, ‘man it is really that good?!’ Minutes after the product line went live I ordered the kit. I love this eye cream because the applicator is easy to use– you can either use your fingers or the applicator itself around your eye. I also like the tinted color to the product. Maybe its in my head, but I feel like the tinted color adds a brightening effect. I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do!

Next is ItCosmetics Confidence In A Cream, this cream is targeted for anti-aging. It is going to help with any fine lines and wrinkles, pores and discoloration. This reminds me I need to stock up, I am about out of it!

Step 5: Moisturizer

If you are going to do any of these steps, moisturizer is THE one! After washing your face, does your skin ever feel dry? Tight? Itchy? Your skin needs moisture!

I recently started using Clinique Moisture Surge Spray, and have been LOOOOVING IT. I originally bought it for my Husband but one day I decided I wanted to try it… and yeah. After my showers I spray this all over my face for an instant tightness relief. It also has Aloe in it! Great if you have been in the sun recently and have some tightness.

Moisture Surge Overnight Mask:

Apply a small amount to hands and gently rub into skin, until face feels hydrated.

I have been using this moisturizer for years now and I haven’t found one that has made my skin feel so hydrated and keep it feeling that way ALL. DAY. LONG. I know… I know… You are probably thinking, “Why are you wearing an ‘overnight mask’?!” Well, it may sound silly, but I use it as a daily moisturizer because my skin is so DRY. I used to have my nose flake on a daily from my skin being dry but after a couple weeks of using this my face felt so hydrated. I highly recommend this product!

Step 6: Clinique Smart Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Age Transformer Resculpt

I recently got this as a free gift when I spent $35.00 at Ulta. It is supposed to help with sculpting and tightening of the jawline and neck. So, all I can say right now is that it feels soft and silky when applied to my skin. I hope after a couple weeks of using it I see a difference. Stay updated on my Insta for the results!

Step 7: Shea Butter Balm

The last step I use in my morning skincare routine, is a lip balm. I have to keep my lips constantly moisturized and when I came upon this product, I quit having to apply lipstick so often. When applied it feels so buttery and soft on my lips. I love this lip balm.
