Glitz & Glam– two words I would use to describe our dream bedroom.
We moved into our home about a year and a half ago and my favorite room in the house is our bedroom! We purchased all new furniture when we moved in and slowly but surely we are making it into our dream bedroom. Our room is mostly taupe and white, I wanted it to look clean yet glamorous!
Our bedroom is 21×13, as I am typing this, I made my husband go measure it haha! In our bedroom we have my walk-in closet, my ‘secret book shelf’ that opens up into my shoe closet and then we have my husbands walk-in closet… which I also use for all my purses LOL. On the first image below you will see a door and that leads to our master bath.
The canvas of our little family on the wall above our bed is actually our TV. We wanted something that would hide our TV, because we really didn’t have a spot to put it, so Dayne looked online and found one. We spray painted it this shinny taupe so it would match our room. I believe it came in a mocha color. We also have our king size bed, (It’s a must have for us to own a king size bed– Dayne is 6ft tall, I like to sleep like a starfish at night and we have two dogs that think they own the bed! Haha) two night stands, our dresser with a mirror and my makeup vanity. We purchased our entire bedroom set from Ashley Furniture Store. I will add links below for whoever wants to check it out or if you love it as much as I do, even purchase it! The furniture set is really great quality and very durable. I don’t see ourselves purchasing a new bedroom set for a very long, long, long, long time!!

My favorite spot in our room is my makeup vanity. I recently redesigned this area and I am so in-love with it y’all! Like I said, I’m totally obsessed with this area! I think I am going to make a blog post just about my makeup vanity, that way I can go more in depth about all the cool gadgets and organizers I have!
